Bonito (Sarda Chiliensis) also known as Pacific Bonito belongs to the family Scombridae are found from Ecuador to Chile. They can reach a maximum length of around 102 cm. Bonito can be found upto the depts of 330 fee. It has dark meat and is very oily with a strong flavor.
