Haddock (Melanogrammus Aeglefinus) is a salt water fish belonging to the family Gadidae and is found mainly in North Atlantic Ocean. Haddock weight can range from 2 to 7 lbs and lengths can range between 30 to 90 cm. It is a bottom dweller and feeds on invertebrates and small fishes. Haddock is white fleshed with firm and tender texture and has a mildly sweet taste.
