Spanish Mackerel (Scomberomorus Maculatus) is also known as Atlantic Spanish Mackerel and Spotted Mackerel. Spanish Mackerel is a migratory species to the northern Gulf of Mexico in spring and returns to southern Florida in the eastern Gulf. Spanish Mackerel are usually found at the depts of 10 to 40 feet and occasionally found as deep as 80 fee. Spanish Mackerel has rich and pronounced flavor.
