Pacific Mackerel (Scomber Japonicus) also known as Chub mackerel is from the family of Scombridae. They are found in Indo-Pacific, absent from the Indian Ocean. The length of Pacific Mackerel can range from 12 to 35 cm and weights can vary from 80 to 600 grams. It has a firm and tender texture with rich flavor.
