Locos (Concholepas Concholepas) also known as Chilean Abalone and belongs to the family Muricidae. This specie is mainly found around the coasts of Chile and Peru. Locos are found at the depths from 0 to 150 feet. Locos is not a true abalone, however, it has almost identical flavor and texture.
