Atlantic Herring (Clupea Harengus) is a herring in the family Clupeidae and it is one of the most abundant fish species in the world. Atlantic Herring are small schooling fish, silvery in color with bluish back. They grow quickly and can go upto maximum 40 cm in length and around 500 grams approximately. It is a fatty fish with rich and salty taste.
